Hike in Jefferson Memorial Forest (Red Trail) on 2/22/2019

Just like the old days with a couple of Murray State Alumni (Tony, Ronald, & I) went to the Jefferson Memorial Forest and hiked the Red Trail. Mostly cloudy day that stayed in the mid 40’s. Nice hiking weather but the trails were a little soggy from all the rain we have been getting. Ronalds 1st time out with us and I think he was a little worried he might not survive it. He did fine and seemed to indicate we could count him in on future hikes.

After the hike we were all a tad tired and headed to El Nopal for some refreshments.

  2. I got worried when the EMS driving lane disappeared, but summoned the strength to not embarrass myself.
It’s significant & meaningful to me that college made friendships LAST (44 years) while others made later on in life don’t. Great Hike, Great Friends.
