Hike in Bernheim Arboretum (Millenium Trail 2/2) on 4/1/2019
Tony & I decided to cap off the hiking season with the second half of the Millennium Trail at Bernheim Arboretum. We started around 8:30 AM with bright sunny skies and the temperatures about 30 degrees. Really wasn’t cold at all and it wasn’t very long before the layers and gloves started coming off.
Our original plan was to hike the 1/2 Millennium and then head to the welcome center and have lunch followed by a short hike to see the 3 giants. Plans were altered when we saw that the hordes (spring breakers) had invaded Bernheim. I have never seen Bernheim so crowded and we both decided to get the hell out of there.
