Good day for one of the 1st hikes of the season. Thanks to Tony for recommending the Big Beech Trail in the Parklands. Had some of my favorite hikers along today and it was very doggie friendly.

We parked at the soccer fields in Pope Lick Park and walked about 3/4 of a mile to the Big Beech trailhead. From there its not long to you cross a creek and your deep into the woods. Highly recommend this trail for anyone not wanting to travel very far but want to escape into the woods.
