Went to see the Real Mary Kings Close today.  Interesting tour.  The close itself is 3 stories underground.  People with the plague were quarantined there. The tour guide asked us not to touch the walls.  He said it wasn’t a matter of what we left behind but who we took with us when we left.  Made our way back to the hotel…again 2 miles uphill and they had the red carpet rolled out.  I don’t think it was for us!
